The EASYFREEZE™ family of solar fridge/freezers delivers superior cooling at an affordable price. In less than an hour, the chamber can be cooled from 32ºC down to 0ºC. Amped’s custom design utilizes extra-thick 75mm closed-cell polyutherane insulation, a powerful compressor that delivers 150W of cooling power, and a solar controller that accepts up to 250 Watts of solar charge in. With the tap of a button, users can toggle between fridge or freezer mode.
To achieve breakthrough affordability, the EASYFREEZE™ uses a built-in ice battery with a whopping 1400Whr of energy storage capacity. This keeps the inside cold for up to 40 hours even without any solar charge coming in. A hybrid LiFePO4 battery provides extra cooling on cloudy days.

The industry leading EASYFREEZE™ 100 system can be configured with either an 80Whr or 200Whr LiFePO4 battery for longer runtime on cloudy days. Users may also choose to purchase with a PAYGO keypad to facilitate microfinance payment. The PAYGO keypad magnetically attaches to the side wall of the EasyFreeze and features mobile phone charging and the ability to power lamps!
